The work to transform the Tree Streets Neighborhood began long before the City-adopted Growing Our Tree Streets Transformation Plan was written and continues today!
As we continue this work, led in partnership with many organizations, businesses, families, people, funders, and policymakers, we welcome anyone and everyone to be a part of it!

The Transformation Action Group meets at City Hall twice a month on Thursday mornings. Send an email and we can provide you some information!
Have an idea and or want to join in, but can’t make Thursday mornings? That’s okay! Send us an email and we can help you figure it out!
Let us know if you have done/are doing work related to the Transformation Plan. The Transformation Plan is vast in scope and there many be work happening that we don’t know about! Send us an email so we can include you in our collective progress.

We want to amplify the good and talk about the historic investment Lewiston has seen in the last few years. We’re not here to paint over our community’s challenges - in fact, we’re doing just the opposite. We want to talk about those challenges and what we (you! us!) are doing about it. After all, if not us, then who?
This is Lewiston Goals
Convey that Lewiston is a place worth investment: to our residents, to people looking for a welcoming place to raise a family, to people looking to open a small business, to potential investors and developers, and to anyone who can imagine what is possible here.
Connect the Tree Streets Neighborhood transformation to future investment and our entire community’s future success.
Highlight the pivotal work people do each day to further strengthen Lewiston into the community we know is possible.

If you (as an individual, organization, or business) want to be part of This is Lewiston, here are a few ways to do it:
Share campaign materials with your networks. Materials will be accompanied by a guide to help you - no heavy lifting required!
Send images to be co-branded with the This is Lewiston brand. We are looking for photos that convey a sense of community, belonging, and enjoyment of Lewiston. While not a heavy lift beyond selecting photos and sending them our way/making sure we are legally cleared to use them, this is a little more involved.
Host a presentation about This is Lewiston for your network/board/etc. Just coordinate with us and we will do the work!
